I know what you're thinking. 

If I just lose another 5 kg my life will be perfect.

If I just drag myself to yet another gym session I hate I'll get the body of my dreams THEN my life will be perfect.

If I just do this ONE LAST DIET I'll get the body of my dreams and THEN my life will be perfect.

Am I right?

I know I am because I've thought all those feels too.  

"If ______ happens, my life will be perfect".

And I get it.  When you feel out of balance your weight becomes a focus.  It becomes the thing you are constantly worried about, annoyed about, frustrated with and it shows.  Your mood, your liveliness, your willingness to try new things.  All those things get pushed to the side.

But when your weight is in balance do you know what?  You don't think about it!  Weight shifts from the focus to the background, leaving room for you to do, be, create all that you want to.

Do you know the feeling too?

That feeling when weight imbalance takes over your life?

I've been at both ends and I know how out of balance I felt at both.  I've been so underweight that I've cried in the changing room because that dress I so desperately wanted to fit looked like a sack on me.  I've also had a post-baby body (twice), and while I am still AMAZED at how freaking awesome my body is for creating two beautiful babes I still felt out of balance and not myself.  Do you know that feeling too?

It's okay to want to balance your weight.  It's okay to say "I love and accept me now, but I'm also destined for more".  It's okay to want to balance your weight and feel freaking awesome.  And it's okay to WANT to not think about your weight.  In fact, that's the goal right.  That your weight is so balanced that you never have to think about it.

Within 6 weeks you WILL feel so freaking balanced (I didn't know how else to describe it...).  You will learn the skills you need to know to change the way you eat, forever.  You will no longer need to restrict foods, deprive yourself of the foods you love or feel fear around food.  You will eat the foods that you love WITH LOVE every single day.  You will identify the body of YOUR dreams and you will be on the road to achieving the body of YOUR dreams. 

You will learn how to eat mindfully, practice guided meditation (don't worry, it's honestly not scary or hard!) and prepare the most delicious and nourishing (but incredibly simple) food.  You'll also have me right there with you, guiding you, answering your questions or just reminding you how freaking amazing you truly are.  And if you happen to have health issues you want to address along the way then it's the PERFECT time.  Let's not leave those unaddressed.  Balance is holistic.

As your Certified Health Coach, Wellness Psyc (BScPsycHons), mentor and friend I will walk with you, hand in hand, through the barriers that have been created.  I had those barriers too.  I used food to make me feel better.  I used food to control my chaotic life.  I used food to release stress.  I used food to prove I was worthy.

That food you are eating is serving you in some way.  We will work it out together and create NEW and exciting positive strategies to serve those emotions in a non-food way.
