Eye Care to Reduce Eye Bags and Dark Circles | Zeatar Eye Care Review

As a mum of two under the age of five and with one more on the way I totally get sleep deprivation and dark circles under the eyes.  In fact, I’ve probably used more concealer in the last few years than I have my entire life.  So when an eye care mask is designed to visibly reduce eye bags and dark circles you can bet I am going to try it out!

When looking for eye care I don’t just want any eye mask.  I want one that I can quickly apply, one that contains natural ingredients and one that is good for my skin.  I also love seeing a PETA Cruelty-Free and Vegan logo, knowing my fresher looking eyes aren’t coming at the expense of another.

As a mum in my 30’s I need an eye care product that that brightens, repairs and hydrates and one that I can leave on while I continue to ‘do all the things’ mums need to do.

The Zeatar Eye Care Bio-Cellulose Eye Freshener Kit comes with five under eye masks that are easy to apply and can be left to do their magic for 15 minutes or for as long as overnight (yes please!).  The eye care masks are designed to visibly reduce eye bags and dark circles for fresher well-rested looking eyes.

Once I removed my concealer (revealing my dark under-eye circles from a few too many nights of limited sleep) I found the eye masks easy to apply.  They are lightweight and didn’t feel as though they would slide off my face as some face masks have in the past.  I actually forgot I had them on as I continued with my daily routine.

I noticed some creasing into the natural fine lines around my eyes which showed just how lightweight and comfortable they were to wear.  I also have sensitive skin and didn’t experience irritation during or after the use of the eye care masks.

I left them on for a total of one hour before becoming impatient as I wanted to see the results.  As someone with dark circles and a LOT of fine lines I felt that my under-eye area was brighter and I definitely appeared more well-rested when I removed the eye masks.

Alongside nutrition, hydration and sleep, the Zeatar Eye Care masks will be a part of my weekly routine as I near the end of my third pregnancy.

MY TOP TIPS FOR EYE BAGS AND DARK CIRCLES

As a mum I understand that prioritising rest is not always possible.  My face, in particular my under-eye area, is the first to show signs of tiredness.  These tips help me to feel as though my eyes are fresh and appear well-rested:

  • Regular under-eye care using good quality products such as the ZEATAR Eye Freshener Kit.
  • Hydration!  Fine lines, wrinkles and overall skin health is impacted by hydration.  Staying hydrated by sipping on water throughout the day will help to support your overall skin health and appearance.
  • Good nutrition.  Your skin health is impacted by what you use externally, your lifestyle AND what you eat.  It is important to prioritise nourishing whole foods as often as possible for skin health.  My top suggestions as a nutrition coach include berries, essential fatty acids, fresh vegetables, leafy greens, almonds and other nuts/seeds rich in vitamin E and foods rich in zinc such as pumpkin seeds, ginger, legumes, mushrooms and whole grains.
  • A balanced lifestyle that includes rest, rejuvenation and FUN!
