The guidelines that got me my dream body without restrictive dieting, EVER!

Is this year yet another year you have purchased yet another restrictive diet, in the hope that somehow, SOMEHOW, this one will work for you?

This is asked out of love.


Love because I was once the girl who purchased restrictive diet plan after restrictive diet plan thinking perhaps this new one would be different.  Perhaps it would see me lose weight and look like the women in the photos.  Perhaps it would see me love who I was when I looked in the mirror.  Perhaps this one had everything I needed to know.

I bought into the idea that I needed to restrict foods in order to feel worthy, safe, loved and beautiful.  I bought into the idea that certain foods simply HAD to be restricted forever if I wanted to be the version of beautiful I had thought up in my mind.  And I thought that every time I ‘slipped up’ and ate the foods I wasn’t ‘supposed to’ I was an epic failure who had no self-control and who obviously wasn’t as disciplined or motivated as those who I thought succeeded.  Maybe I just wasn’t destined to have the body of my dreams.

Through years of self-discovery and a challenging process of healing from disordered eating I’ve learnt that restrictive dieting is not the answer.  It never was the answer.

The answer was instead becoming so in tune with my body that I never needed to restrict foods. 

Imagine a life where you didn’t have to restrict.  You could eat whatever you wanted.

ACTUALLY.

And still have the body of your dreams.

This is not a gimmick.  This is my life.

Do I have washboard abs.  No.  But that isn’t the body I dream of.  What I do have is a relationship with food that serves me and a body that I am proud of.  I have energy, a social life, a body I am comfortable to show in a bikini, activewear or that Little Black Dress (FYI – I’d totally choose pink) and a beautiful relationship with food.  I choose to eat for nourishment and then indulge sensibly as I CHOOSE. 

I am constantly asked how I do it.

How did I overcome anorexia and bulimia, an incredibly toxic relationship with food whereby I was eating out of fear, not love, to a relationship with food and myself that serves me in every way I need it to.  How do I have the body that I do after having two children, without restrictive dieting.  How is that even possible.

I would share snippets and stories of what I do, but I know what you truly want to know is HOW.

How do I do it?

I created these guidelines to show you EXACTLY how I eat to nourish my body, all while achieving and maintaining the body of my dreams.

This is not a diet.  It’s not even a ‘lifestyle’.  It’s a movement, the #hernourishedbodybabes movement, and it’s life-changing.
